Jacob Zimmerman

​The day after I turned 18, I was on a plane to Texas to attend an accelerated HVAC trade school. That rigorous, fast-paced program showed me what was possible when training is structured, efficient, and hands-on. I came back to California with a deep appreciation for that style of learning and jumped straight into the industry.

 

I started as a maintenance technician, worked my way up to service technician, then quickly transitioned into sales technician within just a couple of years. From there, I became a service manager, where I ran company trainings, sharpened the skills of entire teams, and mentored technicians while still producing at a high level in sales.

Over the years, I’ve consistently been a top producer in both service and sales — but what I enjoyed most was training others, building their confidence, and watching them succeed. That passion is what inspired me to launch Legacy Trades Academy.

Now, I bring that same accelerated learning model that kickstarted my career to HVAC companies and students. My mission is to take motivated people with no experience and turn them into job-ready technicians in a matter of months — while also giving companies the workforce they desperately need.
